Beyond the first meeting of the year, we will match calendars to come up with a good date/time for the next meeting. After the first two or three indoor discussion-type meetings, we meet just about exclusively after dark so that we can do observation sessions with our telescopes. Because we need clear skies, subsequent evening meetings are scheduled with relatively short notice to club members, once a good weather report is secured. Ideally, evening viewing sessions would be every couple of weeks. However, the reality is that we meet less frequently because of cloudy/stormy skies.
