In the early morning of October 21st, Chris Brooks was hard at work in his AP Psychology class. I opened the door gently, and requested to take him out in the hall. Interestedly, he followed me, and I interviewed him.
What are your plans after high school?
College. I’m not sure what college I want to go to yet. I know that I want to major in Psychology and minor in probably buisness or Spanish.
Do you plan to stay in New England? Move Far?
If I were to stay in New England, I would most likely stay in New Hampshire or Massachusetts. And if I were to move far away, I would move really far away to somewhere like England.
What are some things you’ve enjoyed about your time here at Lin-Wood?
I liked the ability of getting to know everybody. Before I came here, I used to go to a bigger school, and I didn’t really like it. I like the small school atmosphere here at Lin-Wood.
What are some regrets you have? Academic? Social?
I wish that I hadn’t goofed off my first two years of high school. I don’t really have any
social regrets.
social regrets.
How could you have been more involved? In the school community or the community outside of school?
I guess, during my first few years of high school, I could have done at least something because I didn’t really do anything for the community or the high school.
Was there any class or program you wish Lin-Wood offered?
I would like to take Webster’s Area 51 one more time. Just to have fun.
Are there any class that were your favorite throughout your four years of high school?
There were a few classes that I really liked. This year, I like Psychology and Spanish Four, but my freshman year I took Area 51 with Mr. Webster. It was so fun!
What is your success story? Something you are most proud of…
I flipped how I am now from what I was last year. I started caring about my grades, instead of just slacking off.
What advice do you have for any younger Lin-Wood high school student?
Keep up with your work.
What will you miss when you leave home or just leave Lin-Wood?
When I leave Lin-Wood, I’ll miss the small school atmosphere and the teachers.
