What are somethings you enjoyed about your time at LW?"I definitely enjoyed the crazy teachers, not crazy but unique would be a better way to say it. All teachers here have a certain personality or a diverse amount of traits, which has made going to Lin-Wood much more interesting and amusing. I feel like I should have been one of the kids who should have been bullied, but that did not happen here at Lin-Wood a lot so that was pleasant. I know a lot of kids likely have had issues with bullying here at Lin-Wood, but I have not so miracles do happen!"

What was your fav class at LW?
"That is a difficult subject. I really loved taking Ms. Luce's digital photo class and also loved a lot of Mr.Baker's classes, even though they have been pretty difficult to me. Math has always been difficult for me; he is a wicked good teacher. I also enjoyed Ms. Shameys TOK class , that was fun."
Any class you wish LW offered?
"I heard LW used to offer a running start sociology course, and I wish that was still offered today because that is a field that I would like to look into more. And from the little that I know about it, I would find it pretty interesting, but I haven't had the opportunity to explore it very much. I know sociology is offered in VLACS, but I tend to not be able to learn as well as when it is in a classroom. "
What is a success story/something you are proud of?
"Ummm.. in the beginning of middle school, I had a lot of anxiety issues, like they were bad. I had a panic attack almost every month or so, which was not very good. And I also had a bit of insomnia issues, and a little bit of depression. As the years went by, eventually around high school, I started allowing people to get closer to me on a emotional level. Like, I started trying to make some friends and be with people I was most comfortable with, and that started to ebb away at my anxiety issues and my little bit of depression, which was pretty cool. But still during freshman and sophomore year, I still didn't care much about my grades, at all (laughs). So, it wasn't until junior year that I actually got to a state where I was like, you know, what maybe I should actually start caring about my grades and just things in general. So that I can get into a better college and at this point, I have successfully gotten to a GPA that I am proud of, and I am a lot more happy than I was a few years go so that's cool."
What advice do you have for any younger student?"Appreciate and admire people but also admire yourself because people are amazing and so are you… I say indicating the reader...value friendships, because as someone who had lived without many friends for years, they are pretty useful to have someone to call, just to talk about a concept even if it is just to ask “what did we have for homework?”

What advice do you have for Devon?
"Oh god, I don't know Devon very well, so this is a difficult question… do whatever makes you happy? Enjoy whatever you put your mind to? I know he is very interested in PE so continue with that. As a non athletic person, athleticism is admired… I don’t know."
